With summer holidays just around the corner I’ve pulled together various holiday clubs in and around Bath, compiled from personal research and recommendations. It includes clubs offering diverse activities such as sports, arts, woodland adventures, music and science for children of all ages.

There’s a brief overview and details on hours, locations, and ages. Click on the link in the title for full information, dates and pricing as they’re all subject to seasonal changes.

ALL ROUNDERS

Kingswood SuperCamps offer a Multi-Activity holiday camp with a huge range of engaging and exciting activities to keep them happy and active throughout the day. Days are filled with a huge range of activities including sports, outdoor activities, arts & crafts, inflatable assault courses, swimming and lots more!
Hours: standard hours 9am to 5pm, optional 8am to 6pm
Age: 4 to 12 years

Monkton Minis Activities will be focused around the theme ‘around the world’:  join us as for some virtual travel to Brazil where we make come carnival masks, travel to Mexican to make edible sombreros, to Australia to attempt a boomerang! The children will enjoy looking at other countries cultures as our art activities are designed to give a small insight into their parts of the world.   
Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm; 24 July to 23 August
Age: 4 to 8 years
Location: The Hodges building  at Monkton Prep School, Combe Down, Bath BA2 7ET  

Monkton Muckers For the older children entertainment is the key, activities that we offer will differ each day but include arts, sports, combat archery, RC racing around our own stunt track, raft building, dodge ball, scavenger hunts, wide games, jewellery making, fashion shows, as well as fun swim sessions on the ever popular Wibit inflatable obstacle course. 
Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm; 24 July to 23 August

Characters Stage School ‘The Greatest Showman’: 7-15yrs, Monday 5th – Thursday 8th August
Monkton Culinary School – A Slice of Summer: 8-12yrs, Wednesday 24th July & Thursday 25th July
Rookie Lifeguard: 8-12yrs, Wednesday 14th – Friday 16th August
Rowing Camps: 7-13yrs, Various dates, Monday 8th July – Friday 9th August
Start & Turn Swim Clinic: 8-14yrs, Wednesday 28th – Thursday 29th August

Super Pirates Expect a huge range of fun activities that stretch imaginations and build friendships. Children can expect to enjoy circus toys, treasure hunts, potion making, messy play, crafts, sports, toys, and sorts of things to build with and ride on, and more. Our team are forever leading wild group games, fun discos and adventurous quests. We’ll make plenty of visits to the local park and occasionally get a bounce on our awesome ‘snakeland’ inflatables!
Hours: 8.45am – 5pm; 23 July – 29 August, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
Age: Kids Kingdom 3.5 to 11 years; Academy of Awesome 8 to 13 years
Location: Kids Kingdom – due to building work at the Paragon School, this summer will be at Combe Down Primary School BA2 5JQ. Academy of Awesome is based at Hayesfield West Wing,  BA2 3LA

Ultimate Activity Camps Your child can immerse themselves in a mix of sports, games, and crafts designed for fun and engagement. The team ensures there will be a vibrant atmosphere where your child can explore over 40 activities. These include favourites such as swimming, tennis, and basketball.
Hours: 8:30 – 5:15pm; 15 July – 23 August
Age: 4 to 14 years

DANCE, GYMNASTICS & SPORTS

Baskervilles Gymnastics offer fun-filled freestyle and adult gymnastics and fitness classes with summer sessions including Circus Day, Ninja Warrior and Olympic Day.
Hours: 8:15am to 5:30pm
Age: sessions are aimed at pre-school and school aged children
Location: Headquartered at Englishcombe Lane plus a number of satellite centres.

Bath Cricket Club Children can engage & enjoy fundays, sporting camps, art camps & event days in a fun, safe & exciting environment. The holiday camps are a great way to give all children the opportunity to build confidence, develop new skills, enjoy being active and have lots of fun. Holiday clubs & camps are years.
Hours: 9am to 3pm
Ages: open to children of all abilities aged between 5 and 11
Location: Bath Cricket Club, North Parade Bridge Road, BA2 4EX

Team Bath Holiday Activities Team Bath TribeTeam Bath Netball and Team Bath Tennis deliver camps for talented, developing, aspiring and novice performers in a fun and progressive environment, allowing the opportunity to learn new skills, attempt new activities and meet new friends.
Hours: From 22 July to 23 August, 9am-4pm, with early drop-off and late collection options also available. 
Age: for school years 1 – 8
Location: Team Bath Sports Training Village (STV) is based at the heart of the University of Bath campus

Corsham Gymnastics Academy CGA Holiday camps run during school holidays on selected days. Children will enjoy a fun packed day full of gymnastics, games along with arts & crafts with our CGA coaches. 
Hours: Drop off is between 8:45-9:00am and pick up is at 3:30pm. 
Age: Suitable for all primary school age children.
Location: Corsham Gymnastics Academy, Leafield Stoneyard, Upper Potley Lane, SN13 9RS

Excel Tennis Holiday Camp A mix of fun games and tennis development, with regular rounds on the Adventure Golf course. They are a great way to make friends and burn off plenty of energy.
Hours: Tuesday-Thursday between 9am-1pm.
Age: They run two groups based on age: younger group for 5-7 year olds and an older group for 8-11 year olds.
Location: Based at the Royal Pavillion, Royal Victoria Park.

GetSported ‘GET Sported’ multi-sport camps are packed with a wide range of sports and activities and great at engaging children of all abilities! We also offer ‘GET Serious’ cricket camps for those wishing to focus on one sport, suitable for beginners through to more advanced and county players. Each day is themed on a character quality that is taught experientially and based upon Christian values.
Hours: 9am to 4pm

In 2 Sport Coaching Children attending in2sport’s holiday clubs will be able to participate in a wide range of sports and activities, which are structured to entertain, progress and widen children’s interest in leading an active life.
Hours: Core hours 9am to 3pm with optional wrap around care.
Age: 4 to12 years and all abilities
Location: based in a variety of locations in Bath and Wiltshire including: Aloeric Primary School, Bathford Church School, Corsham Primary School Pound Pill, Ivy Lane Primary School and St Katharines Primary School.

The Little Gym During the school holidays, rain or shine, The Little Gym camps combine fun, sport, creative activities and learning to keep your kids active, entertained and laughing. All while carefully developing their minds, bodies and self-confidence. Children love them!
Hours: can be attended as both half and full days.

Little Dancers Holiday Club Working along side Mark Gunning and his team, Little Dancers helps to deliver fun packed clubs during the school holidays. Activities include: dance, football, ICT, arts and crafts, capture the flag and other team games.
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm with optional additional hours to 5:30pm

Trampoline Camps include the opportunity to practice routines, badge testing, games and learning new skills. There’s also an Airtrak where the children can practise skills and have great fun. It is the perfect opportunity for squad members to prepare for competitions and work on consistency throughout the holidays.
Hours: 9am to 4pm; Thursdays: 1, 8, 15 & 22 August.

WOODLAND ADVENTURES

Camp Teepee at the Paragon This summer, due to construction work at the Paragon, Camp Teepee will run in the beautiful grounds of Prior Park College, overlooking the National Trust’s Landscape Garden. A typical day will involve fire lighting, outdoor cooking, wood crafting, wild drumming, woodland detective games, shelter building, clay creature crafting and much more.  
Hours: July 9th – 12th and August 27th – 29th 9:30am to 4pm
Age: open to children from all schools from 6-11 years
Location: Camp Teepee will take place at Prior Park College this summer due to extensive groundworks taking place at The Paragon

Creative Roots Woodland Holiday Club Aims to provide an inspiring and rich environment where children can play, explore and learn new skills, work with natural materials and explore the magic of natural world.
Hours: runs from 9:30 – 3pm during half term and holidays.
Age: sessions are for children aged 4 – 11
Location: Based in Batheaston

EcoWild Summer Holiday Adventure Club in Greyfield Wood. A fun filled holiday club in the woods. A chance for children to explore, learn about wildlife and get inspired by the natural world. Expect games, nature art and crafts, cooking tasty snacks and making new friends in the shelter of the roundhouse!
Hours: Runs 10am to 3pm over summer, 22 – 26 July & 29 July to 2 August
Age: 5 to 11 years
Location: Greyfield Wood, High Littleton BS39 6YE

PlayWood Forest School & Outdoor Learning Full-day outdoor holiday fun for children aged 5-11yrs – exploring the woodlands & fields in the beautiful valley of Monkton Combe – den building, whittling, learning about nature, natural crafts, rope work, fire lighting, stories, games, hammocks fun and more. Sessions are child-led where possible giving the children the chance to follow their interests, explore & play. Full days mean children can get completely absorbed in their activities and make new friends. These holiday sessions have been running for many years.
Hours: 9:30am to 3:00pm. Drop-off from 9:15

ART, DRAMA, MUSIC & SCIENCE

Fun Science Holiday Club is back this Summer with some more exciting science! Each day is themed such as Brilliant Biology, all about the biology of the human body. Prepare to hear lots of ‘ewwww!’s as we delve into some disgusting digestion and the ins and outs of our immune system. Another day is Fizz, Pop and Bubble where you spend the day making things fizz, pop and, you guessed it, bubble! This day will be all about chemical reactions, so expect lots of hands-on chemistry activities.
Hours: This club will be held on the 6th, 7th, 8th, 27th, 28th and 29th August from 10am – 3pm with an optional ‘stay and play’ hours from 9am-10am and 3pm-4pm

Location: St Barnabas Church Hall, Mount View, Southdown, Bath, BA2 1JX

Holburne Art Camps provide a fabulously fun day of creativity for children, delivered by experienced artists. Each day is designed to explore new skills, art practices and exciting materials. All activities are inspired by wonderful objects and stories from the museum collection as well as our temporary exhibitions.
Hours: 9am to 4pm; 24, 25, 29, 30, 31 July + 1, 5, 6, 7, 8 August
Age: For children aged 6-11 years
Location: Holburne Museum, Great Pulteney St, Bath BA2 4DB

The Rock Project Summer School! During the workshop the students will learn songs with tutors, rehearse together as a band and put on a gig at the end of the week. What makes this different from our normal sessions is that the students will get to play all of the instruments. Guitar, drums, bass, and singing and will perform a gig on all the instruments at the end of the week.
Hours: The sessions will be 9am – 4pm Monday to Friday – you can only reserve spaces for the full week

The Rondo Drama Summer School is a unique experience where you’re encouraged to share your creative ideas (however crazy or bizarre!). You then get the chance to devise a play, improvise it and perform it to your parents and friends under the lights on the famous Rondo Stage. The sessions are run by Paulo Baigent, an experienced theatre director and drama workshop leader. Book here.

Stage Coach Holiday Workshops Come and join us in our Holiday Workshops. Singing, dancing and acting for children. Children make new friends, build confidence, learn new skills & work towards a performance for family and friends. Open to Stagecoach & Non-Stagecoach students. At the end of their time at one of our Stagecoach Holiday Workshops, our students will join together to showcase their new-found singing, acting and dancing skills to family and friends.

Age: 4 – 6 & 6 – 18 years

NURSERY

The Lookout Day Nursery The holidays will be full of fun with the children taking part in activities of their choosing, from activities such as… baking scrummy treats, sports and games, woodland activities, den building, arts, crafts and handiwork, campfire cooking, adventure walks, using the local woods, day trips exploring local events and activities and we always finish off the week with a party!  
Hours: from 9am – 5pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday throughout the summer holidays
Age: 4 to 11 years
